“And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ Matthews 25:40 NKJV

Christ came not to be served but to serve, to the extent that He gave His life to pay for our sins. What He did was the supreme sacrifice one can do for a friend. We are His friends. Friends love each other and help each other. True friends stick together through thick and thin. If you are Christ’s true friend, you should love Him as He loves you. You should be willing to give your life for Him. Likewise, if you are His friend, you will also love His friends. We belong to His Circle of friends. He loves us and we should love one another. Because we love Christ, we want to serve Him. In His physical absence, we express our love for Him by loving one another. I love you, and I serve you. And I am grateful that you love me and you show it by serving me. This spirit of love and ministering to one another should go on and on in the Lord’s Circle of friends called the Church. Up to what extent should we love and serve one another? We should be willing to sacrifice for the good of another. Christ-likeness is characterized by loving and serving. He went about doing good works. Be ready to seize every opportunity to do every good work in the name of Christ.
